I'm glad you got her back and now she has a little twin friend as well as Madeline :) $20 is steep but I guess we do what we need to do for our little darlings!Tanya (Bump2Basics)http://www.chatty-t.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-23256286890653567812010-07-26T18:33:05.198+01:002010-07-26T18:33:05.198+01:00Oh yes! She was an early teether so it made Mama feel better that she had something to chew on!

We were headed to Hawaii in April and Grandma came to visit so that I could spend some quality time for myself getting a pedicure for the vacation. Sophie (the giraffe), Madeline & Grandma went for a walk! Sophie was dumped out of the stroller into the mud and Grandma put dirty Sophie in her pocket & was planning on cleaning it off when we got home. 7:30pm that night I get a call from Grandma...she's home now & SOPHIE IS STILL IN HER POCKET!!!! We leave the house at 6am the next morning on our first plane trip for Hawaii!

Quick call to Daddy...he says meet me at the Mall! We'll go buy ANOTHER ONE! (Yikes.....another $20 toy!) It "helped" on the vacation but nothing is like the original. She doesn't chew on the second one nearly as viciously as the original but it's nice to have the backup. Although she knows the "real" one! Of course she does...she's chewed most of the face & body paint off of the original!Emnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-43204894713760185952010-07-24T18:11:27.549+01:002010-07-24T18:11:27.549+01:00Nope. I think it's an effort to resist the angst of the situation. We were lucky to get Floppy Eared Rabbit back...but that was a long time ago perhaps at a kinder, gentler time when folks might have thought more about the loss to a little one than the luck of finding a hot toy. Is there a website for finding lost love ones? Put the army of tweeters to work. Actually, I think I've seen a commercial to that effect on t.v. Oh. I think it was about a puppy that had gone missing. A college student activated the campus to be on alert and the pooch was found. Can't these toys be attached to the pram by a line? (short enough to avoid strangulation of course!) Ask bug a boo to install a strong snap with a line 12 inches with a velcro end that can be wrapped around the appendage of these toys. Could save a lot of heartache! wwWendynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-59977984409736324902010-07-15T10:23:51.511+01:002010-07-15T10:23:51.511+01:00Thank you.
