I am lucky that my MIL is retired and lives around the corner so she has had Piran to let me recover a bit. The worst thing is not being able to take anything for it with being pregnant!

Poor Piran was really bad though. He is usually very high energy and he spent three days sat on the sofa watching TV. He didn't even want to get a toy out, it was really scary, I hated seeing him like that.

I hope that you are all better soon.Kelly_A place of my ownhttp://youfoundkelshidingplace.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-46851125419155504512011-03-11T09:02:42.024+00:002011-03-11T09:02:42.024+00:00I remember that was a big shocker for me. This fir...I remember that was a big shocker for me. This first time I was really ill when my daughter was little my dad just happened to be staying with us. He helped where he could--mostly in giving me an hour here and there to sleep, and that did help but it over all sucked for all of us.

The rest of the times it was all about taking paracetamol and ibuprofen and just dragging myself through the day, using the fabulous electronic babysitter (TV) as much as possible and hoping for an understanding husband in the evening. He wasn't helpful at all usually which is one of many reasons why I am no longer with him!

I remember one day I woke really really feverish and achy all over, and my daughter was also feverish. We had run out of calpol. I asked him to please get some calpol for us from the 7-11 (a 15-20 mn round trip) and he said he couldnt because he'd be late for work (which was in a hospital, 5 mn walk away). I had to call a friend. That was probably the beginning of the end for that marriage.

Good luck with it, and remember it will be over soon and you'll be healthy again! Don't be afraid to ask for help either. Sometimes people don't know you need it until you ask. xMichellouihttp://www.theamericanresident.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-21976408063289762372011-03-11T02:31:51.666+00:002011-03-11T02:31:51.666+00:00Pei pa koa is pretty decent cough medicine (from h...Pei pa koa is pretty decent cough medicine (from herbal as I remembered), great non alcoholic medicine, some western cough medicine are more effective, but this is non drowsy.

You can access info online @
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nin_Jiom_Pei_Pa_Koa
ninjiom.50webs.comGreen Teresarnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-7852340880096519062011-03-11T01:35:01.781+00:002011-03-11T01:35:01.781+00:00Sounds like a rough week!
