I'm trying to keep that out of harms way.

You're right that if we read into all the myriad of germ and bug advice out there we'd never leave the house. I try to stick to the basics (like avoid honey - ha!) and avoid the rest and sometimes do better in this respect than other times. We never even used to have antibacterial wipes and we all survived. Sometimes I need these realtity checks.Tanya (Bump2Basics)http://www.chatty-t.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-38953255648879034952010-08-03T09:36:37.091+01:002010-08-03T09:36:37.091+01:00You're right that it's rare (I learned tha...You're right that it's rare (I learned that when I started reading up on it on the Internet - slap of wrist!) But I guess that's how they learn.

First time around I think so much about all these little slip ups and all the decisions I make so I look forward to the next time when I just get on with it since I'll have more experience and probably less time to think about these things.Tanya (Bump2Basics)http://www.chatty-t.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-90981486056168574562010-07-28T00:11:51.365+01:002010-07-28T00:11:51.365+01:00It is so easy to end up worry so much isn't it...It is so easy to end up worry so much isn't it. You're right, you get lost in a cloud of too much advice sometimes. I bet honey wasn't even a no-no when we were kids. I did something simillar when Evie was small, I let her have some of my cold chicken from the roast the day before, then panicked that I should have 'heated to piping hot' first. But like Mwa says, once they're bigger you have to stop worrying or you'd be permanently wiping/antibacterial cleanser-ing them. I did once she licked the swing chain in the park at six months old! She's sampled the wet cat food too...eeeww.What did you do today mama?http://www.whatdidyoudotodaymama.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195788236766051950.post-34582023532269597142010-07-27T18:26:55.881+01:002010-07-27T18:26:55.881+01:00I'm sure LLC will be just fine - I think infan...I'm sure LLC will be just fine - I think infant botulism is incredibly rare! Don't worry too much about bugs - once they start crawling and lick pets and floors and shoes (oh yes) you'll wonder why you ever worried. One of mine ate some cat vomit once.Mwanoreply@blogger.com
